My work focuses on the genome-wide effects of epigenetic regulation and tumor-associated cistrome dynamics in prostate cancer formation and progression. Using a multitude of techniques (e.g. ChIP seq, RNA seq, ATAC seq) and novel model systems (human and murine organoids) the goal of my research is to uncover the mechanisms which promote tumor specific epigenetic reprograming and define the sub-class specific transcriptional networks responsible for disease development and evolution. I also serve as the leader of the Prostate Cancer Human Organoid team, which strives to develop, optimize, and characterize clinically relevant organoid models of primary prostate cancers.
